Why call an animal osteopath? 

Several reasons may encourage you to call an animal osteopath:

  • For a balance annual or bi-annual control

  • When the growth of your animal 

  • When lameness and/or irregularities

  • When performance drop 

  • Following a trauma (fall, accident...)

  • When rehabilitation following a surgical operation, sprain, tendinitis...

  • In support during a chronic pathology (osteoarthritis, systemic, metabolic diseases, etc.)

  • In order to improve its well-being and general comfort

/!\Contraindications to an osteopathy session /!\

A consultation is strongly discouraged if the animal is suffering from infectious signs (fever with heat and swelling and pain), or during serious trauma.  The animal must then be seen by a veterinarian.  

And when ?

Excluding specific reason for consultation (pain, trauma, illness, etc.)  :  

  • Each animal requires a check-up at least once a year.  to carry out preventive work.

  • For animals taking part in important activities (breeding, competitions, important training), 3 to 4 sessions per year are ideal in order to relieve the constraints brought to the animal's body, so that it can continue its activity in the best conditions. terms
